About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content
  • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership
  • Develop in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of a client’s barriers or overall needs
  • Demonstrate thought leadership while establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts
  • Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts
  • Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice aligned to their designated content area
  • Create and deliver high value presentation materials for Gartner events
  • Provide sales support serving as voice of the market
  • Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions
  • Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members
  • Be client-centric while actively seeking to help clients engage regularly with Gartner insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
  • Proven experience applying quantitative analysis, financial modeling, forecasting and scenarios analysis to strategic business or technology investment decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to advise CIOs and senior business executives on technology-enabled transformation
  • Ability to anticipate how AI and other emerging technologies can create new enterprise transformation opportunities
  • Ability to translate complex financial and technology analysis into actionable, executive-ready insights
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data
  • Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
  • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within subject area
