Key responsibilities & impact

Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content
Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership
Develop in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of a client’s barriers or overall needs
Demonstrate thought leadership while establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts
Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts
Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice aligned to their designated content area
Create and deliver high value presentation materials for Gartner events
Provide sales support serving as voice of the market
Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions
Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members
Be client-centric while actively seeking to help clients engage regularly with Gartner insights

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
Proven experience applying quantitative analysis, financial modeling, forecasting and scenarios analysis to strategic business or technology investment decisions
Demonstrated ability to advise CIOs and senior business executives on technology-enabled transformation
Ability to anticipate how AI and other emerging technologies can create new enterprise transformation opportunities
Ability to translate complex financial and technology analysis into actionable, executive-ready insights
Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data
Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within subject area
