Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct in-depth research and develop actionable insights on emerging technologies
Provide CIOs and AI Leaders with best practices on safeguarding their organizations
Analyze the impact of emerging technologies on cybersecurity strategies
Author research notes, market guides, and strategic frameworks
Deliver high-impact presentations and client interactions
Engage with senior technology executives and vendors
Provide one-on-one advisory support to Gartner clients
Participate in innovation discussions and support workflow of the Insights community
Mentor and coach junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated knowledge of the impact of emerging technologies on cybersecurity
Proven experience as a CIO, CISO, or direct advisor to CIOs/AI Leaders in a large enterprise or technology-focused organization
Deep expertise in cybersecurity, including technical architecture, threat intelligence, risk management, and governance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data
Strong communication skills
Subject matter expertise in cybersecurity technologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
