Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a liaison between data engineers, data stewards, product owners, and other IT teams.
  • Interpret results using a variety of techniques.
  • Create accurate/timely impact analysis.
  • Use statistical methods and techniques to identify patterns and trends.
  • Identify KPIs and develop metrics to track product performance.
  • Communicate and assist with efforts to resolve data gaps.
  • Gain domain knowledge in relevant business areas.
  • Collaborate to create deliverables such as Technical Requirements and User Acceptance Tests.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Assist in test plan creation and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure quality through adherence to processes and maintenance of documentation.
  • Provide support to business/data analysts and project managers.
  • Manage a small team of data analysts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst/Data Analyst in an Analytics environment.
  • 4 yr. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field preferred.
  • 2 years of Team Leadership experience.
  • Advanced SQL skills and understanding of data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Python skills a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets and generate meaningful insights.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology.
  • Well versed with in utilizing tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, Google Suite, MS Visio, Lucid Chart, JIRA, Confluence.
