About the role
- Bring product priorities to life through a clear articulation of a user’s journey, behaviours, needs, and pain points.
- Facilitate the product lifecycle from discovery, through design, development and in-market iterations.
- Partner closely with Product Design during UX / Design reviews and provide candid, constructive, and clear feedback backed with customer insights.
- Own the entire user story process, from creation through acceptance.
- Partner closely with Engineering for technical solutions and the feasibility of product designs.
- Collaborate with customer success, product marketing, and sales to ensure a world class experience.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, customers, and internal teams.
- Create and maintain a well-defined product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and define success metrics for features and enhancements.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product increments.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the development team regarding feature requirements and priorities.
- Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog based on feedback, business value, and changing needs.
- Monitor and report on product progress, outcomes, and KPIs to the Product Manager and stakeholders.
- Advocate for the customer experience throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Document user journeys for the product along with customer feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2-3 years of experience as a product owner or product manager
- Excellent analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience translating user and business needs into functional requirements
- Experience in iterative product development using agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience working with designers and engineers
- Self-motivated and comfortable with a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Deep curiosity and advocacy for exceptional user experiences
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate product deliverables
