About the role
- Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content
- Develop new insights through thought leadership and actionable approaches
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of client barriers
- Demonstrate thought leadership in R&D portfolio strategy and management
- Research, analyze and predict market trends to provide actionable insights
- Create and deliver high value presentation materials for conferences and client briefings
- Provide sales support and collaborate across teams in the Insights community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience
- Direct experience leading Research and Development teams that produce physical products in manufacturing intensive industries (i.e., industrial manufacturing, aerospace & defense, automotive)
- Knowledge of investment decisions across R&D projects
- Knowledge of advanced analytics methods, artificial intelligence, and other technologies to advance R&D’s mission
- Knowledge of how R&D leaders identify, evaluate and select R&D digital tools
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong research and writing ability
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Subject matter expertise comfortable presenting at various engagements
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
