About the role
- Participate in the technical design, development, and deployment of innovative data solutions.
- Your expertise in AWS Cloud, SQS, SQL, Glue, Python, PostgreSQL, and Agile methodologies will guide the team towards successful project completion.
- Analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement functionality related to Data Management.
- Build and maintain Data Pipelines using SQL, Ataccama and AWS technologies like Glue and Python.
- Build and configure web services, Event Driven Architecture components.
- Utilize Master Data Management tools like Ataccama and in-house tools to ensure filtering, mastering, and data quality rules are appropriately enabled and adequately tested.
- Engage in day-to-day data operations involving troubleshooting data pipelines and monitoring and maintaining job schedules.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to align technical and business requirements.
Requirements
- Strong IT professional with minimum 2 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering, preferably in ETL and AWS.
- The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Proficient in utilizing AWS services.
- Excellent SQL and data analytics skills – ability to look at complex stored procedures and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Experience in PostgreSQL or similar cloud-based DB.
- Nice to have: Experience working with AWS Glue.
- Experience in Data Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Operations.
- Good knowledge of cloud technology AWS, Azure, and exposure to cloud tools.
- Proficiency in either Python/Java programming.
- Basic understanding of MDM fundamentals and domains.
- Experience with Atacama would be a huge advantage.
