About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the continuous development of Garner’s performance, internal movement, and compensation infrastructure
  • Manage bi-annual performance reviews, promotions, and compensation planning cycles
  • Develop employee and manager-facing tools and training around Talent Management and Total Rewards
  • Manage and evolve Garner’s job architecture and compensation programs
  • Own the design and administration of healthcare benefits, ancillary benefits, 401k plan, and perks
  • Operate as the “product manager” for People systems, tools, and operational workflows
  • Design and manage People Analytics dashboards; use data to assess organizational health
  • Partner on complex change management initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in the People/HR space
  • 2+ years in a Talent Management and/or Total Rewards leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets abilities are required
  • Experience building scalable compensation planning tools and people analytics dashboards preferred
  • AI capabilities desired
  • High ownership mentality, agility, and exceptional project management skills
  • Deep interest and nuanced understanding of innovative performance practices
  • Experience with healthcare benefits design and administration preferred
  • Strong written communication and an eye for visual design
  • Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and ensure company success
  • Desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team
