HR Generalist
GardaWorld Federal ServicesHR Generalist supporting employee relations, compliance, and onboarding activities in a remote capacity. Focused on maintaining HR records and providing guidance to leadership teams.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with employee relations, investigations, disciplinary action, and onboarding
- Serve as HR Business Partner to Project leadership
- Provide human resources services, including records management, AA/EEO compliance, and completing personnel transactions
- Maintain HR records and employee files in accordance with compliance regulations and policies
- Work closely with payroll and other departments, exercising discretion while working with highly confidential information
- Coordinate with HR leadership and Operations to troubleshoot and provide coaching and consultation in the areas of employee relations and performance management
- Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action
- Assist the workforce with identifying employee concerns, clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions and implementing selected solutions
- Conduct voluntary and involuntary exit meetings in conjunction with Project Leadership
- Handle assignments and support the Project as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or related field
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Costpoint) preferred
- PHR/SPHR Certified preferred
