About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies for the German market
- Open up new business opportunities through targeted acquisition of wholesale customers
- Advise on and market technical upstream products from the Gamma SIP portfolio
- Acquire and manage participation in tenders and bidding processes
- Achieve individually agreed revenue targets
- Manage wholesale customers such as network operators and international carriers
- Conduct customer meetings, trade shows, presentations and contract negotiations in the field
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Participate in marketing activities with a focus on target markets
- Monitor the market, perform competitive analysis and identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Procurement and Legal to deliver customer-specific solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in sales, ideally in B2B or telecommunications (knowledge of network technologies, products and the competitive landscape)
- Willingness to travel (flexible for field and customer appointments across Germany) and strong self-motivation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain partnerships on an equal footing
- Structured working style and strong closing skills
- Fluent German (spoken and written)
- Good English (spoken and written)
