About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies for the German market
  • Open up new business opportunities through targeted acquisition of wholesale customers
  • Advise on and market technical upstream products from the Gamma SIP portfolio
  • Acquire and manage participation in tenders and bidding processes
  • Achieve individually agreed revenue targets
  • Manage wholesale customers such as network operators and international carriers
  • Conduct customer meetings, trade shows, presentations and contract negotiations in the field
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Participate in marketing activities with a focus on target markets
  • Monitor the market, perform competitive analysis and identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Procurement and Legal to deliver customer-specific solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in sales, ideally in B2B or telecommunications (knowledge of network technologies, products and the competitive landscape)
  • Willingness to travel (flexible for field and customer appointments across Germany) and strong self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain partnerships on an equal footing
  • Structured working style and strong closing skills
  • Fluent German (spoken and written)
  • Good English (spoken and written)
