About the role

  • Create, maintain and manage a visible and transparent product backlog using appropriate tools such as Jira
  • Work closely with other POMs, Senior POMs, the Lead POM, and the Delivery & Design Director to ensure an aligned and prioritized cross-portfolio backlog
  • Develop end-to-end user story maps and customer journey maps together with key stakeholders and identify future development needs
  • Create, maintain and communicate product roadmaps to demonstrate the value of planned initiatives over a period of approximately 12 months
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes and support the creation and documentation of feasible solution options
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all product-related changes and clearly communicate how changes may affect each other

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science or a comparable field
  • Experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a digital environment
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into concrete requirements
  • Combination of technical competence, business understanding and strong communication skills
  • Experience developing, structuring and prioritizing product backlogs
  • Confident user of tools such as Confluence, Jira, Trello, Lucid and the Microsoft 365 suite
  • High resilience and the ability to manage complex tasks and shifting priorities while delivering high-quality results quickly and reliably
  • Excellent German and English skills
