About the role
- Create, maintain and manage a visible and transparent product backlog using appropriate tools such as Jira
- Work closely with other POMs, Senior POMs, the Lead POM, and the Delivery & Design Director to ensure an aligned and prioritized cross-portfolio backlog
- Develop end-to-end user story maps and customer journey maps together with key stakeholders and identify future development needs
- Create, maintain and communicate product roadmaps to demonstrate the value of planned initiatives over a period of approximately 12 months
- Assess the impact of proposed changes and support the creation and documentation of feasible solution options
- Serve as the central point of contact for all product-related changes and clearly communicate how changes may affect each other
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science or a comparable field
- Experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a digital environment
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into concrete requirements
- Combination of technical competence, business understanding and strong communication skills
- Experience developing, structuring and prioritizing product backlogs
- Confident user of tools such as Confluence, Jira, Trello, Lucid and the Microsoft 365 suite
- High resilience and the ability to manage complex tasks and shifting priorities while delivering high-quality results quickly and reliably
- Excellent German and English skills
