About the role

  • Operational order and purchase management: Responsible for timely issuing of purchase orders for production materials and traded goods.
  • Continuous monitoring of all open orders and ensuring material availability for our production lines.
  • Development and maintenance of a scalable overview (dashboarding/reporting) of all orders to provide transparency on delivery status and backlogs at all times.
  • Supplier management & escalation: Close coordination with suppliers regarding prices, delivery dates and quantity availability.
  • Active shortage management and escalation control: You identify bottlenecks early, enforce commitments and find solutions for delivery delays.
  • Evaluation of supplier performance regarding on-time delivery, quality and flexibility.
  • Process optimization & interfaces: Analysis of existing procurement processes and identification of weak points.
  • Close collaboration with production planning, warehouse and strategic purchasing to optimize inventory and avoid out-of-stock situations.
  • Review of order confirmations for discrepancies and resolution of invoice variances.

Requirements

  • Education & experience: You have a commercial apprenticeship or a degree (Business Administration / Supply Chain Management) and have already gained solid experience in operational purchasing or order management.
  • Structured working style: You keep an overview even with hundreds of open orders. Your work is characterized by data accuracy and a drive to replace manual steps with smart processes.
  • Flexibility & motivation: In our growth phase not everything always goes according to plan. That doesn’t deter you—instead you are flexible, hands-on and find pragmatic solutions for urgent challenges.
  • Communication: You are confident in dealings with suppliers. You demand dates and quantities and manage escalations professionally and solution-oriented.
  • Tech stack: You are proficient in common ERP systems and use Excel not just as a list but as an analysis tool.
