About the role
- Manage daily cross-functional financial operations and client escalations across technology, product, client services, finance, compliance, legal, and marketing teams
- Act as a liaison between our internal team, parent company Galaxy Digital, and external partners, facilitating communication, resolving operational bottlenecks, and ensuring alignment on shared goals.
- Monitor operational workflows, track key performance metrics, and prepare reports or dashboards to provide insights on efficiency, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, reduce redundancies, and enhance cross-team collaboration in a dynamic environment.
- Handle ad-hoc projects, such as vendor management, resource allocation, and event coordination, to maintain momentum across financial operations.
- Contribute to risk management by flagging potential issues early and assisting in the development of contingency plans.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence by organizing knowledge-sharing resources and feedback loops.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial operations or project management, within technology-driven, financial services environments.
- Proven ability to manage daily operations and support cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, including banking, brokerage, and crypto services.
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, parent companies, and external partners.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and facilitate meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field.
- Bonus Points: Experience in a fintech startup or consumer-product-focused company.
- Bonus Points: Strong data analysis skills, including experience with tools like Excel, Tableau, or Google Analytics for operational reporting.
