About the role
- Lead the design and modernization of MMIS solutions
- Develop and execute cloud migration strategies
- Drive transformation initiatives and deliver integrated strategies
- Architect and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure
- Ensure solutions comply with federal and state healthcare standards
- Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards
- Prepare architecture diagrams and compliance reports
- Collaborate with state agencies, vendors, and internal teams
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or cloud architecture roles
- direct MMIS/Medicaid experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in enterprise environments
- Proven track record in security and compliance for healthcare IT
- Strong understanding of quality management processes and standards (ISO 9000, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.), Quality Management certifications (ISO, Six Sigma)
