About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the unit's privacy program on a day-to-day basis, with its own plan, priorities and KPIs, acting as the privacy focal point for business, product, technology and marketing teams.
  • Conduct mapping, maintain the record of processing activities (ROPA) and data inventory, keeping the database updated in OneTrust.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and legitimate interest assessments for products and user journeys, with validation by the group's Data Protection Officer.
  • Evaluate privacy by design and by default for new digital products and initiatives involving artificial intelligence before launch.
  • Give special attention to children’s and adolescents’ data, considering applicable obligations and app store requirements.
  • Handle data subject requests, activate the incident response workflow and assess vendor risks.
  • Deliver training and awareness initiatives across areas and report KPIs, outstanding items and risks to the client's governance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree (completed)
  • Practical experience in privacy and data protection, including leading a program area in a medium or large organization.
  • Strong knowledge of LGPD in practice and hands-on experience with ROPA, impact assessments, legitimate interest analysis, handling data subject requests, cookies and privacy notices.
  • Experience interfacing with product and technology teams, evaluating digital initiatives prior to launch.
  • Experience with a privacy tool and willingness to deepen expertise in OneTrust.
  • Availability for full-time exclusive dedication to a single client, and actual availability to work on-site two days per week in the Bixiga area, São Paulo (city).
