About the role
- Creating and optimizing audience-appropriate copy for websites, ads, social media, newsletters, events, and press releases
- Developing editorial calendars based on search volume, the customer journey, and target audiences
- Advising stakeholders at all levels on copy-related matters
- Identifying and implementing ideas to improve websites and user experience
- Further developing the content and social media strategies within the team
- Expanding social media presence (analysis, planning, and execution)
- Analyzing content performance (SEO, social media) and deriving actionable measures
- Conducting interviews and surveys for storytelling
- Benchmarking and monitoring trends and competitors
Requirements
- Degree in communication, journalism, media, languages/linguistics or marketing, or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience writing audience-specific copy in a digital environment
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong sense for language, tone, and detail
- Practical experience with content management systems and SEO- and user-centered website optimization
- Passion for social media and targeted storytelling to position brands and topics
- Familiarity with Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and common social media tools
- Structured, independent working style and a hands-on mentality
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and assertive in cross-functional collaboration
- Native-level German; good English skills are a plus
