About the role
- Provide level 1 and 2 technical support to employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software and network;
- Deliver training and guidance to users on proper use of systems and equipment;
- Document procedures, policies and technical solutions implemented;
- Open and track service requests with vendors, ensuring SLAs are met;
- Negotiate with vendors, handling quotes, contracts and procurement of products and services;
- Manage the procurement process for IT materials and supplies, from ordering to receipt;
- Maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring updates, licensing and compliance;
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computer equipment;
- Administer the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and communication devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field;
- Experience in technical support;
- Proficiency in networking, operating systems (Windows and Linux), Microsoft 365, hardware and software;
- Experience with ticketing and support management tools;
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as inventory control, procurement management and vendor liaison;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook;
- Preferred: IT certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft) and/or postgraduate studies in the field.
