About the role

  • Provide level 1 and 2 technical support to employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software and network;
  • Deliver training and guidance to users on proper use of systems and equipment;
  • Document procedures, policies and technical solutions implemented;
  • Open and track service requests with vendors, ensuring SLAs are met;
  • Negotiate with vendors, handling quotes, contracts and procurement of products and services;
  • Manage the procurement process for IT materials and supplies, from ordering to receipt;
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring updates, licensing and compliance;
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computer equipment;
  • Administer the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and communication devices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field;
  • Experience in technical support;
  • Proficiency in networking, operating systems (Windows and Linux), Microsoft 365, hardware and software;
  • Experience with ticketing and support management tools;
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks such as inventory control, procurement management and vendor liaison;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook;
  • Preferred: IT certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft) and/or postgraduate studies in the field.
