About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, design, and perform QA/QC checks related to technical activities
Development of Protective Relay Settings using AcSELerator Quickset and/or GE Enervista
Conduct P&C studies including short circuit analysis, relay coordination, and load flow
Review junior engineer’s designs, verify they meet client standards and specifications
Document QA/QC reviews, maintain record documents, and communicate information to the team
Mentoring and managing staff at all levels
Managing tasks on multiple projects in accordance with GAI’s high standards of project management

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. Engineering or other technical degree
10+ years of experience in Protection & Controls engineering
Experience with Relay Settings
Supporting substation and/or protection and control engineering projects
High-voltage substation experience
