About the role

  • Responsible for technical leadership and successful delivery of transmission line designs
  • Maintain the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects
  • Complete day-to-day project tasks as required for successful project delivery
  • Preparation of Specification Packages
  • Preparation of Structural and Fabrication Drawings
  • Design and Analysis of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-Tower is a bonus
  • Design and Analysis of foundations
  • Analysis of existing and proposed structures with regard to Client and Other required codes
  • Performance of Electrical Clearance checks and calculations
  • Apply engineering principles to assist in the design of Power Delivery Projects
  • Implement effective engineering methods, provide technical guidance, and act as a resource for engineers and designers
  • Manage multiple projects directly

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college or university in engineering is required
  • Preferred a degree in Civil, or Electrical engineering
  • PE License required
  • 6+ years of experience in transmission line design
  • Required experience with PLS suite (PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE)
  • Preferred experience with PLS-TOWER and FAD Tools
