About the role

  • Lead the disentanglement of legacy contracts, negotiating new standalone agreements for G2
  • Manage vendor transitions under TSA (Transition Services Agreement) timelines and compliance requirements
  • Partner with Legal and IMO teams to ensure clean separation of entangled vendor relationships
  • Build and own G2’s centralized procurement function as the single dedicated procurement professional at G2.
  • Own the full contract lifecycle: sourcing, negotiation, execution, renewal tracking, and termination
  • Manage vendor contract review, redlining, and standard terms negotiation in partnership with departments (Engineering, Product, Marketing, Legal, Corporate Services)
  • Run competitive RFP processes and negotiate volume and multi-year discounts, leveraging combined entity scale
  • Manage the expanding shared services tooling portfolio (HRIS, finance systems, security tools, dev tools) across the integrated organization
  • Enforce procurement governance, including approval thresholds, vendor onboarding standards, and purchase policy compliance.
  • Support centralized tracking of AI tool spend and ROI measurement across the procurement portfolio
  • Identify and execute vendor consolidation opportunities, eliminating duplicate and overlapping tools
  • Build vendor performance scorecards and establish procurement policies and approval workflows
  • Develop spend analytics and reporting on vendor spend trends.
  • Prevent value leakage from auto-renewals, unfavorable terms, and unmanaged tail spend
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, IT, Engineering, Product, and Marketing to centralize procurement processes.
