About the role
- Work as part of the sales team to demonstrate products
- Provide support on existing products through customer visits, demonstrations, and training sessions
- Maintain communication with internal and external customers
- Assist Application Engineers with quotations and order specifications
- Handle Technical Bid Review (TBR) meetings
- Coordinate training for customers and Independent Representatives
- Design custom solutions based on customer requirements
- Prepare technical papers and sales success stories
- Manage communication with customers regarding changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in application engineering or comparable role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiar with customer management tools
- Multi-tasking ability
- Excellent presentation and phone skills
- Negotiating skills
- Technical writing skills
- Order specification writing and organizational skills
