About the role

  • Manage and optimize global employee benefits programs including health and welfare, retirement, and pension plans for employees and customers
  • Ensure compliance with applicable country, state, and federal regulations across locations
  • Provide expert guidance to employees, customers, and stakeholders on benefits-related matters
  • Analyze existing benefits plans, implement new initiatives, and lead the open enrollment process
  • Coordinate with vendors and partner with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators
  • Ensure accuracy of benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in the HRIS and perform ongoing audits of benefits-related data
  • Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions and reporting
  • Design, review, and update benefit communication materials and conduct training sessions
  • Manage benefits renewal projects and lead or support special projects as needed
  • Mentor and support benefits administrators and new team members

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits or related fields
  • Professional HR or benefits certification is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of employee benefits and applicable laws
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Customer-centric with excellent project management skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrating initiative and proactivity
  • Commitment to ongoing process improvements and optimizing benefits administration
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of benefits administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Prior experience with Workday and proficiency with Google suite, ServiceNow, Jira, ADP, Salesforce, Zendesk or similar software
