Sales Manager, Key Account Manager – Security Technology
G & N GruppeSales Manager representing electronic security solutions for G&N Gruppe. Engaging with customers for project development and brand management in security technology.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- In this position you will represent our electronic security solutions directly with customers — both on-site and remotely.
- You will acquire new customers and continuously develop existing relationships with a focus on long-term collaboration.
- In direct exchanges with customers you will capture their requirements, question them carefully, and derive technically sound solutions.
- You will prepare solutions and systems so that they are understandable and comprehensible for both decision-makers and end users.
- Together with engineering, estimating and project management you will develop proposals that are technically well-structured and economically viable.
- You will support projects throughout their entire lifecycle — from the first conversation through successful implementation to contract conclusion.
- A key focus of your work will be fire alarm systems (Brandmeldetechnik, BMA), which you will actively develop and manage in day-to-day operations.
- In addition, you will support the expansion of video technology/video surveillance and advance this business area with a growth-oriented approach.
- You will keep an eye on market and technology developments and derive impulses for the further development of the sales organization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have completed a technical or commercial apprenticeship, ideally complemented by further qualifications as a technician, master craftsman or a degree in electrical engineering, communications or security technology.
- Several years of experience in technical sales distinguish you, especially in the area of fire alarm systems (BMA) and in project-based business.
- You are confident in translating technical solutions into economically sensible concepts and move with ease between customers, planning and internal specialist departments.
- Other areas of security technology such as intrusion detection systems (EMA), access control, voice alarm systems (SAA) or public address/electroacoustic systems (ELA) are not new to you, although they are not a mandatory requirement.
- Your working style is structured, you act independently and you maintain an overview even in more complex project situations.
- In customer contact you present yourself confidently and reliably and succeed in conveying technical content clearly and understandably.
- Fluent German at C1 level completes your profile.
