About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform QC reviews for the client's KYC team, ensuring files meet regulatory, policy and global control standards across jurisdictions
- Review periodic review work completed by an offshore team, tracking progress throughout
- Drive consistency in quality control practices across the KYC function
- Identify control gaps, trends and risk issues through QC reviews
- Work closely with onboarding and client lifecycle systems, data, and process flows
- Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, communicating findings and issues clearly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in a Quality Control role
- Background in KYC within an investment banking environment
- Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD frameworks, with familiarity with sanctions screening, PEP classifications, and EDD (enhanced due diligence)
- Previous experience dealing with periodic review and tracking progress
- Familiarity working with offshore teams is ideal, but not a must
- Strong data skills
- Excellent communicator, able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
