E-Learning Developer – Contractor
FYXERE-Learning Developer creating interactive e-learning content for a UK client focused on AI-enabled learning delivery. Transforming materials into engaging online learning experiences in a remote capacity.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and structure online learning modules within an LMS/LXP platform
- Translate scripts, outlines, storyboards, presentations, and activities into fully functional e-learning content
- Implement interactive learning elements, including:
- Knowledge checks and quizzes
- Interactive exercises and activities
- Navigation and branching logic
- Learner guidance, completion rules, and feedback states
- Ensure a seamless and engaging learner journey across all modules
- Maintain consistency in formatting, structure, pacing, and user experience
- Integrate video content and supporting media assets into modules
- Prepare and format images, downloadable resources, icons, and other learning materials
- Identify and flag missing or low-quality assets early, providing practical solutions where possible
- Conduct thorough technical QA before client review, including:
- Interaction functionality and scoring logic
- Navigation accuracy
- Formatting and layout consistency
- Media playback and performance
- Broken links and missing assets
- Basic accessibility considerations where possible
- Maintain clear documentation of QA checks, fixes, and updates
- Implement client review feedback efficiently and accurately
- Apply changes without introducing technical or formatting regressions
- Advise the project team on platform capabilities and recommend suitable alternatives where required
- Use AI tools, including built-in platform AI functionality, to support efficient course development
- Validate AI-generated outputs for quality, tone, accuracy, and learner clarity
- Share repeatable AI workflows or prompts that improve delivery speed and consistency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience building e-learning content within LMS or LXP platforms
- Strong understanding of interactive e-learning principles and learner engagement techniques
- Confidence working with quizzes, branching logic, interactive activities, and learner flows
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms and tools
- Comfortable incorporating AI into development workflows
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard for quality and consistency
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver at pace
