About the role
- Monitor and support the production environment, with a focus on critical systems such as payment services, client interfaces, and trading platforms
- Participate in incident management, including handling P1/P2 incidents, escalation, and coordination with internal teams
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to post-incident reviews
- Investigate and resolve production issues across multiple services and environments
- Report bugs and issues to development teams and resolve support tickets when possible
- Configure systems, fix operational issues, and perform data and performance analysis
- Work with monitoring, logs, and alerts to proactively detect and diagnose problems
- Automate routine operational tasks and improve support processes
- Collaborate with product, development, payments, and external vendors when required
- Communicate technical issues clearly, including business impact and status updates
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Production Support / Technical Support / Site Reliability
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience using MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including: data validation and investigations, performance and incident-related queries, basic understanding of locks, slow queries, and replication
- Experience working with monitoring and observability tools, such as: Grafana (dashboards, alerts), log aggregation systems (e.g. Graylog, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
- Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, Node.js) a plus
- General understanding of CI/CD processes and containerized environments (Docker)
- Experience supporting high-availability, production-critical systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive mindset and ownership mentality
