About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in establishing operational excellence, particularly as it pertains to patient experience, employee morale, industry standards, compliance, and performance metrics
Supervise and develop a team of Alto technicians and be responsible for employee engagement, training and communicating and adhering to performance standards
Review, score, and provide feedback to improve the quality of care team interactions
Own technician workflow and operations
Ensure the critical metrics for efficiency, service levels, and quality for prescription processing are met
Coach and develop technicians to optimize quality and patient experience
Create training materials and lead training sessions for successful technician onboarding
Manage staffing, scheduling, workflows, hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action
Partner with the Quality Team to ensure patient safety and clinical excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

An active pharmacy technician license in good standing with Colorado or Texas State board of pharmacy, free of any disciplinary actions
1-3 years prior experience managing teams of pharmacy technicians and clerks in a retail, mail order setting or hub setting or equivalent experience as a systems, people and process trainer in a similar environment
Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement, defect identification, and solution implementation
Ability to define and manage performance and success against business, people and patient satisfaction KPIs
Demonstrated success in providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
