About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in establishing operational excellence, particularly as it pertains to patient experience, employee morale, industry standards, compliance, and performance metrics
- Supervise and develop a team of Alto technicians and be responsible for employee engagement, training and communicating and adhering to performance standards
- Review, score, and provide feedback to improve the quality of care team interactions
- Own technician workflow and operations
- Ensure the critical metrics for efficiency, service levels, and quality for prescription processing are met
- Coach and develop technicians to optimize quality and patient experience
- Create training materials and lead training sessions for successful technician onboarding
- Manage staffing, scheduling, workflows, hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action
- Partner with the Quality Team to ensure patient safety and clinical excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- An active pharmacy technician license in good standing with Colorado or Texas State board of pharmacy, free of any disciplinary actions
- 1-3 years prior experience managing teams of pharmacy technicians and clerks in a retail, mail order setting or hub setting or equivalent experience as a systems, people and process trainer in a similar environment
- Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement, defect identification, and solution implementation
- Ability to define and manage performance and success against business, people and patient satisfaction KPIs
- Demonstrated success in providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
