About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and supervise a team of Consulting Pharmacists, overseeing daily operations, productivity, and performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery
Establish and implement reporting requirements, analyze operational data, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that support continuous process enhancements
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs, coaching initiatives, and quality assurance processes that support team development and operational excellence
Forecast staffing needs based on operational demands and prescription volume to maintain appropriate coverage and service levels
Manage performance expectations, conduct ongoing performance evaluations, and provide training, mentorship, and coaching to direct reports
Develop and maintain expertise in pharmacy and communication platforms
Perform frontline pharmacist responsibilities as needed to support prescription volume, maintain staffing coverage, and ensure continuity of patient care
Work closely with internal stakeholders and leadership teams to align operational goals, improve workflows, and support organizational initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in your state of residence
Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Demonstrated experience hiring, managing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient consultation workflows, and healthcare technology systems
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Proven ability to analyze operational data, manage performance metrics, and drive process improvements
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead teams in a fast-paced remote environment
