About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and supervise a team of Consulting Pharmacists, overseeing daily operations, productivity, and performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Establish and implement reporting requirements, analyze operational data, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that support continuous process enhancements
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs, coaching initiatives, and quality assurance processes that support team development and operational excellence
  • Forecast staffing needs based on operational demands and prescription volume to maintain appropriate coverage and service levels
  • Manage performance expectations, conduct ongoing performance evaluations, and provide training, mentorship, and coaching to direct reports
  • Develop and maintain expertise in pharmacy and communication platforms
  • Perform frontline pharmacist responsibilities as needed to support prescription volume, maintain staffing coverage, and ensure continuity of patient care
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and leadership teams to align operational goals, improve workflows, and support organizational initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in your state of residence
  • Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, managing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient consultation workflows, and healthcare technology systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to analyze operational data, manage performance metrics, and drive process improvements
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead teams in a fast-paced remote environment
