About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
- Implement and maintain declarative customizations such as custom objects, fields, validation rules, Flows and Apex
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using various integration tools and APIs - REST, SOAP, Batch jobs
- Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity within the Salesforce platform.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines - we work with patient health data so this is of the highest priority.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance for the Salesforce platform.
- Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce features and functionalities, recommending and implementing improvements.
- Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of AWS platform development preferred
- Experience with Salesforce declarative tools.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing settings.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
- DevOps Center.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
