About the role

  • Act as the main point of contact for hospice clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Understand client needs and recommend pharmacy solutions that align with hospice care goals.
  • Drive client retention through proactive engagement and strategic support.
  • Identify and recommend pharmacy partners and solutions that meet hospice requirements.
  • Ensure alignment between hospice protocols and Fuze services, including formulary management and cost-containment strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal clinical pharmacists to validate clinical appropriateness of solutions.
  • Coordinate implementation of new hospice groups, ensuring smooth onboarding and education.
  • Work with internal teams (clinical, billing, operations) to support accurate claims processing and service delivery.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries, escalations, and service concerns promptly.
  • Review hospice utilization data and medication spend to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews with actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of account management experience
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver content in both virtual and in-person settings
  • Exceptional communication, active listening, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive both individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
