About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of registered nurses operating in a remote call center environment; conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
  • Maximize nursing staff utilization to deliver high-quality patient care efficiently while driving program profitability.
  • Develop, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as consultations per nurse per month; make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
  • Monitor call center metrics and ensure all patient interactions are handled with empathy, accuracy, and in accordance with clinical and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of call center operations; identify and address areas for improvement in workflows, protocols, and systems.
  • Design and deliver training programs for new and existing nurses covering clinical protocols, customer service, and call center systems.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policies; verify that all nursing licenses and credentials are current in the internal EMR system.
  • Partner with internal teams and stakeholders across the organization to align strategies, share insights, and improve patient care delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • Active multistate compact nursing license required
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a call center or telehealth environment
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of clinical guidelines, call center operations, and healthcare compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in call center software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
