About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the responsible technical contact person within the project scope — both internally and externally
- Provide opinionated technical leadership tailored to the project and client context
- Facilitate technology choices, architecture decisions, and ways of working that align with project goals and organizational standards
- Ensure that security and compliance requirements are understood and fulfilled throughout the development lifecycle, both in the ways of working with AI tools and the actual solutions the team builds
- Oversee and contribute to the creation of documentation to support onboarding, operations, and continuity (including updating relevant entries in Power)
- Identify and flag new sales opportunities and proactively communicate them to the Sales team
- Provide technical support in sales cases, especially within your client relationships or specific industry domain
- Strive to overcome technical and organizational challenges with creativity and resilience
- Ensure the project team has the capabilities needed to succeed, and knows how to leverage Futurice’s internal resources and external partner networks effectively
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and openness.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Lead developer experience in software development with a full-stack mindset and a deep technical understanding
- Proficiency in using agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) across the entire lifecycle—from planning and implementation to testing and debugging
- The Ability to coach our teams on Agentic AI, sharing your expertise to help everyone pivot to AI-augmented workflows in their daily work
- A proven track record of mentoring developers, taking charge of technical architecture and helping the team grow their professional skills
- The confidence to act as the go-to expert for clients, explaining technical trade-offs and designing innovative AI-related solutions
- Experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and handling DevOps, CI/CD, and AI infrastructure needs
- A commitment to strong security practices, ensuring data privacy, compliance, and the ethical use of AI in all projects
- Ability to guide teams with a pragmatic approach, staying curious and opinionated while keeping everyone aligned
- A consultative mindset focused on solving real-world challenges and using tech to deliver value to our clients
- Professional working proficiency in both Finnish and English.
