About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write an average of two stories each day for our Fashion vertical, with an emphasis on self-styling, trend identification, and a strong market edit
Self-shoot, edit, and post 2-3 first-person videos each week on social platforms including Instagram and TikTok
Working with our social lead, oversee ShopMy coverage on Instagram with the goal of boosting sales
Monitor editorial, social, and affiliate performance to identify patterns and optimize future output
Represent the brand on social media and other outward-facing media (e.g. TV hits), in addition to at events

Requirements

What you’ll need

Instincts around what feels aspirational, timely, and commercially relevant
Familiarity with the fashion retail landscape, including luxury, contemporary, and mass market
Distinctive fashion point of view, with the ability to translate trends into accessible shopping recommendations for the Marie Claire audience
Experience speaking directly to an audience about styling, with an emphasis on self-styling
Strong writing and editing skills
Experience managing social and editorial calendars
Experience reviewing data to inform output
Experience filming and editing social-first videos; knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut is a plus
