About the role
- Ensure legal compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Align U.S. HR operations with the global people strategy, ensuring consistency while reflecting local requirements.
- Manage union relationships and related obligations.
- Work with People Business Partners to provide expert HR guidance.
- Improve HR processes, using HRIS and people analytics to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight.
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Team, and other senior leaders to foster an inclusive culture, taking into account organizational values.
- Develop, implement, communicate, and enforce HR policies following U.S. employment legislation.
Requirements
- HR experience in multi-disciplinary HR environments.
- Experience supporting teams through change and transformation.
- Experience working in partnership with unions.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, Dayforce, or similar).
