About the role
- Lead team selling digital media (branded content, premium video, and programmatic solutions), against a list of assigned accounts
- Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure repeatable, predictable above-quota results based on successful pipeline management
- Build, measure, and improve a repeatable sales process to achieve targeted sales goals
- Empower your team with scalable systems and repeatable processes to increase sales skills, product and industry knowledge, and professional habits
- Assist sales reps in closing complex transactions by teaching best practices in prospecting, managing and closing opportunities
- Create a team culture that's positive, motivating, and performance-driven
- Develop specific and targeted goals within each demand team to expand and accelerate revenue opportunities within their unique customer sets
- Report important growth metrics to assess personal and team performance
- Find creative ways to improve and increase performance
- Plan resource allocation, forecast growth, and monitor pipeline
- Implement best practices to support consultative sales and client success processes
- Negotiate deals and understand complex client campaigns
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Media industry experience including experience in sales role(s)
- Experience in digital, mobile, video and print
- 10+ years overall experience with 2+ years leading a team across the Mid Market segment within finance, music and entertainment.
- You have a personal history of repeatedly exceeding your past individual contributor quota so you can train AEs on how to be successful in the role
- Experience with and understanding of digital media/video monetization products and trends, audience data and solutions-based approach
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Understanding of industry trends and revenue drivers
