About the role

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy to accelerate growth and strengthen our position in the renewable energy sector.
  • Own revenue generation - from lead generation to deal closing, ensuring consistent pipeline development and conversion.
  • Actively engage in sales activities, including pitching to potential clients, negotiating contracts, and managing key accounts.
  • Build and scale the sales team, including hiring, coaching, and establishing scalable sales processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to align commercial goals with product and operational strategy.
  • Develop partnerships within the renewable energy ecosystem (operators, technology providers, investors).
  • Oversee marketing and brand positioning, ensuring a strong, mission-driven market presence.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track commercial performance and inform data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a senior commercial, sales, or business development role; ideally in cleantech, energy, SaaS, or AI-driven technology.
  • Strong hands-on approach - you enjoy being directly involved in customer conversations and closing deals.
  • Experience in building and scaling sales teams in a startup or growth-stage environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a data-driven and execution-oriented approach.
  • Comfort with working remotely and collaboratively across time zones.
  • Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus).
