About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as Scrum Master for all internal project teams
Provide Scrum and project reports to upper management
Manage stakeholders and communicate project performance, schedules, and resources
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Manage project scope, schedule, costs, changes, risks, and liabilities
Create short- and long-term plans, set milestones, adhere to deadlines, and allocate resources
Delegate project tasks and ensure resource availability and allocation
Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution
Track project performance and analyze completion of short- and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
Plan sprints and tasks in Jira
Use project management tools including Jira and Asana
Work autonomously and adapt to an evolving work structure
Interact with internal stakeholders to provide regular IT project updates

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–4 years of Scrum Master experience with a consulting or professional services firm
Strong interpersonal skills to organize, motivate, and communicate with teams
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with product and/or software development processes
Certified Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
Understanding of resource management, including human, financial, and asset-based resources
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Knowledge of Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
Experience with project tools such as Asana
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Experience with IT projects preferred
Experience in entrepreneurial and startup environments preferred
Must be located in a Latin American country
Must work 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST
Must keep camera on during virtual meetings
