Key responsibilities & impact

Support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and tax-related activities
Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Assist in month-end close activities
Support tax-related work (basic US taxation, sales tax, documentation)
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist in preparing reports for internal review
Coordinate with the Senior Accountant for reviews and corrections

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance)
2–4 years of experience in US accounting / US GAAP environment
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory)
Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Strong knowledge of: Journal entries, Reconciliations, AP/AR processes
Exposure to taxation (basic level)
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Experience working with US-based clients or accounting processes (preferred)
Exposure to sales tax / payroll accounting / compliance support (preferred)
Familiarity with any ERP/accounting tools (in addition to QuickBooks) (preferred)
