About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain Mulesoft integration solutions
- Develop custom applications, integrate various IT systems, and work on Salesforce implementation projects
- MuleSoft integration development, design, build, test, debug, deploy, APIs, and integrations
- Design and develop web services with SOAP and REST API's
- Develop detailed software design documentation and API documentation
- Work on cutting-edge technologies like Big Data, reliable messaging frameworks & ETL
- Do client showcases and demonstrations of developed solutions
- Implement API-led connectivity solutions that cater to enterprise integration needs
- Participate in each phase of the software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and maintenance
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand the systems integrated with MuleSoft
- Prepare detailed technical specs for the development and integration of solutions
- Adhere to coding and design standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
- Conduct unit testing and assist the Quality Assurance team in integration and system tests
- Aid in analyzing and resolving production support issues as they arise
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Mulesoft developer
- Software design and architecture experience
- Experience with a public cloud like AWS/Azure
- Experience with APIs, Rest and/or SOAP web services
- Familiarity with web or database application development and strong in SQL
- Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum
- Proven experience as a MuleSoft Developer or similar role in API and platform engineering.
- Solid understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule Runtime, Mule API gateway, and all other MuleSoft products.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services, RAML in Mule, and use of connectors for integration.
- Knowledge of Integration Design patterns and Microservices architecture.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
