About the role
- Develop and maintain data pipelines integrating security applications with the threat detection engine.
- Design secure and efficient integrations via REST APIs and custom HTTPS endpoints.
- Build and manage HTTPS endpoints for securely forwarding data and ensure compatibility with automation workflows.
- Support self-service provisioning through web platform development for the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain secure and efficient deployment practices.
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code adhering to coding best practices.
- Monitor, debug, and enhance integration reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, backend development, or similar roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python 3 and SQL.
- Proven experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Quart + Fast, Django, or Flask.
- Proficiency in JSON parsing and working with Redis for caching/batching.
- Deep understanding of asynchronous vs synchronous programming and time complexity.
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and containerization technologies.
- Strong grasp of secure coding practices, access controls, and authentication protocols like Basic Auth.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor IDE.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).
- Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America.
- Must be available to work with significant overlap with Eastern Time (EST).
- This is a short term contract - 2 months.
