About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own corporate technology projects end to end, including intake, scoping, requirements, timelines, stakeholder communication, testing, launch, and post-implementation support.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource, personally performing system configuration, integration, data migration, and testing.
  • Design, build, document, and maintain integrations using native connectors, automation platforms, vendor APIs, webhooks, and file-based transfers.
  • Monitor production integrations and automations, troubleshoot failures, and build error handling and alerting.
  • Partner with business teams to configure and integrate systems that improve processes, productivity, and outcomes.
  • Automate employee onboarding and offboarding workflows and account provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Connect corporate systems to the reporting layer and build operational dashboards and reporting.
  • Translate business requirements into system requirements, solution designs, and configuration plans; run discovery and design sessions.
  • Maintain intake and prioritization for corporate project requests and provide status reporting on the project portfolio.
  • Evaluate technology options and recommend solutions, including vendor demos, proof-of-concept work, and documented comparisons.
  • Ensure corporate system changes follow change management, access control, and SOC 2 audit requirements.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, integration diagrams, runbooks, and training materials.
  • Provide escalated technical support for implemented corporate systems and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to retire redundant tools, reduce manual work, and improve processes through automation.
  • Liaise with security, DevOps, engineering, and data teams to align solutions with technical standards.
  • Support a distributed U.S. workforce, including occasional irregular hours and after-hours implementation or cutover work.
  • Foster continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration across the company.
  • Travel less than 5%.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business systems, IT project management, systems administration, solutions engineering, or a similar role, ideally at a SaaS or technology company.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering system implementations or integration projects end to end while serving as both the project manager and the hands-on implementer.
  • Hands-on configuration and administration experience with corporate SaaS platforms.
  • Experience building integrations between business systems using native connectors, integration and automation platforms, REST APIs, webhooks, or file-based data transfers.
  • Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including SSO, role-based access, and least-privilege provisioning.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to run multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and unclear requirements.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation habits.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and business needs into technical solutions.
  • Self-starter mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Track record of building trust with business stakeholders and fostering a collaborative, service-oriented culture.
  • Light scripting and data skills such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL are a nice to have.
  • Experience operating in a compliance-focused environment such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is a nice to have.
  • PMP, CAPM, Scrum, ITIL, or platform administrator certifications are a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
