About the role

  • Development of technical solutions including schedule and technical planning for security systems (video systems, access control, intrusion detection systems, fire alarm systems, control room/operations center systems, etc.)
  • Project planning and responsibility for project management
  • Engineering/design of complex central units and clarification of system interfaces
  • Coordination of technician deployments and support during installation, configuration, commissioning and acceptance
  • Selection of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Planning of maintenance activities
  • Participation in product selection
  • Customer consulting regarding the software and hardware portfolio
  • Sales support in customer meetings

Requirements

  • Technical vocational qualification, ideally as a technician in communications, security or electrical engineering
  • Project management and project planning skills
  • Practical experience with security technology, electrical installations or IT components
  • Enjoyment of customer-facing work
  • Hands-on aptitude and broad technical interest with a willingness to learn
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Ideally VdS certification for one or more disciplines
  • Valid driver's license (car) required
  • Business-fluent German
  • Proven proficiency with MS Office, es2000 and CAD systems for managing tasks
