About the role
- Technical leadership of a group-wide technology team for Infrastructure / Security
- Disciplinary leadership of a team of IT staff at the Nuremberg location
- Implementation of IT objectives
- Support for the professional development and training of team members
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of IT projects
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Resource planning and allocation
- Identification and introduction of new technologies and processes to optimize the IT infrastructure
- Supporting the team in resolving technical issues
- Monitoring and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures
- Ensuring system availability and security
- Reporting to the CIO of Funkwerk AG on the progress and status of strategic IT projects
- Coordination with external service providers and suppliers
- Planning and management of the IT budget
- Implementation and oversight of IT security policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements
- Conducting risk analyses and developing contingency plans
- Creating and maintaining documentation for IT systems and processes
- Regular reporting on the condition and performance of the IT infrastructure
- Initiating and carrying out troubleshooting and remediation
- Performing incident analyses
- Providing IT user support
- Procuring IT systems via investment requests and purchase orders
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics (Information Systems) or a comparable qualification
- Experience in team leadership
- Several years of professional experience in network and systems administration
- Very good knowledge and practical experience with Linux, Microsoft technologies, database administration, security solutions and ERP systems
- Very good knowledge and practical experience with network protocols and services as well as security technologies
- Conceptual and process-oriented thinking
- Flexibility and resilience, as well as an independent and responsible way of working
- High degree of team spirit and customer orientation
