About the role

  • Development of technical solutions including scheduling and technical planning of security technology systems (video systems, access control, intrusion alarm systems, fire alarm systems, control-room/command-and-control systems, etc.)
  • Project planning and responsibility for project management
  • Engineering of complex central units and clarification/definition of system interfaces
  • Coordination of technician deployment and support during installation, configuration, commissioning and acceptance
  • Selection of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Planning of maintenance activities
  • Participation in product selection
  • Customer advisory regarding the software and hardware portfolio
  • Sales support during customer meetings

Requirements

  • Technical qualification, preferably a technician in communications, security or electrical engineering
  • Project management and project planning competence
  • Practical experience with security technology, electrical systems or IT components
  • Enjoyment of working with customers
  • Manual skills and broad technical interest with willingness to learn
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Ideally VdS certification for one or more trades
  • Car driving license is required
  • Business-fluent German language skills
  • Proficient use of MS Office, es2000 and CAD systems for managing assigned tasks
