About the role

  • Responsible for procuring defined categories of goods (materials & services)
  • Conducting, analyzing and further developing tenders/RFPs
  • Selecting, developing and evaluating suppliers
  • Negotiating and concluding framework, supply and project-related contracts
  • Close coordination with internal stakeholders and the Head of Purchasing
  • Active involvement in and continuous optimization of purchasing processes
  • Further development and support of the existing e-procurement system
  • Introduction, implementation and support of new digital tools within the procurement area
  • Identifying automation and AI potential in procurement
  • Acting as the interface between purchasing, IT and business units on system and process matters

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or degree, ideally with a digital, IT or process-oriented focus
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement (operational and/or process-related)
  • Strong interest in digitalization, e-procurement, new tools and technologies
  • Very good knowledge of SAP as well as strong MS Office skills
  • Analytical and structured working style with a high degree of initiative
  • Business-fluent German and English
