About the role

  • As an Application Technician, you are responsible for getting our safety management systems up and running at the customer's site
  • You install and configure hardware and software, set system parameters, and support integration/networking with other safety-related systems
  • You accompany commissioning through to a successful go-live
  • You work closely with our on-site technicians, project managers and customers
  • You analyse technical issues and develop pragmatic, sustainable solutions

Requirements

  • Vocational training in electrical engineering or IT, e.g. IT Specialist (System Integration) or IT Technician
  • Strong knowledge of IT and network technologies and experience with databases and applications
  • Interest in safety/security systems and their integration (video, access control, intrusion alarm systems, fire alarm systems, etc.)
  • Structured, self-directed working style and a strong willingness to learn
  • Broad technical understanding, manual dexterity and enjoyment of hands-on problem solving
  • Experience in security technology, ideally with safety management systems
  • Driver’s license (Class B); willingness for occasional on-call duty and travel within the region
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Very good German language skills
