About the role

  • Development of technical solutions, including schedule and technical planning of security systems (video systems, access control, intrusion detection systems, fire alarm systems, control room/command center systems, etc.)
  • Project planning and overall project management responsibility
  • Engineering of complex central units and clarification of system interfaces
  • Coordination of technician deployments and support during installation, configuration, commissioning, and acceptance
  • Selection of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Planning of maintenance activities
  • Participation in product selection
  • Customer consultation regarding the software and hardware portfolio
  • Sales support during customer meetings

Requirements

  • Technical education, ideally as a technician in communications, security, or electrical engineering
  • Competence in project management and project planning
  • Practical experience with security technology, electrical systems, or IT components
  • Enjoys working with customers and has a customer-oriented approach
  • Manual skills and broad technical interest with a willingness to learn
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Ideally VdS certification for one or more disciplines
  • Valid driver's license (car) required
  • Business-fluent German language skills
  • Experienced user of MS Office, es2000, and CAD systems to manage the role's responsibilities
