About the role

  • Development of technical solutions including scheduling and technical planning for security systems (video surveillance systems, access control, intrusion alarm systems, fire alarm systems, control room/monitoring systems, etc.)
  • Project planning and responsibility for project management
  • Engineering of complex central units and coordination/clarification of system interfaces
  • Coordination of technician deployment and support during installation, configuration, commissioning and acceptance
  • Selection of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Planning of maintenance operations
  • Participation in product selection
  • Consulting customers on software and hardware offerings
  • Sales support in customer meetings

Requirements

  • Technical education, ideally a technician qualification in IT, communications, or electrical engineering
  • Project management and project planning skills
  • Practical experience with security technology, electrical installations, or IT systems
  • Enjoyment of customer-facing work
  • Manual dexterity and broad technical interest with a willingness to learn
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented work style
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Ideally VdS certification for one or more disciplines
  • Valid car driving license required
  • Business-fluent German
  • Proficient with MS Office, es2000 and CAD systems
