About the role

  • You will independently take responsibility for the planning, commissioning and operational support of network components.
  • You are part of a team permanently assigned on-site at our customer’s location.
  • Your responsibilities include planning, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, administration and maintenance of Windows servers and clients.
  • Ensuring the availability of the local IT environment and providing user support.
  • Cross-departmental technical support on IT matters.
  • Installation and configuration of applications and data services.
  • Support and execution of IT documentation.
  • Maintenance of the helpdesk system and knowledge base.
  • On-call duty as part of the on-site team; no travel required.

Requirements

  • Completed training as an IT specialist (System Integration or IT Systems Electronics), a technical degree, further training as an IT technician, or a comparable qualification.
  • Practical experience in planning and commissioning IT infrastructures.
  • Microsoft certification (MCSA or MCSE) desirable.
  • Installation and administration of Microsoft servers and clients.
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style.
  • Experience with security systems.
  • Proficient user of MS Office.
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills.
