About the role

  • Handling and accurate documentation of all procurement processes for selected product groups, including materials and service providers
  • Conducting and evaluating tenders
  • Supplier selection
  • Maintenance and development of existing suppliers
  • Concluding framework agreements and supply contracts as well as project-related contracts with suppliers, and negotiating the corresponding terms in coordination with the Head of Purchasing
  • Ensuring material availability for all demand units of the company
  • Cross-departmental communication
  • Participation in the digitalization and continuous improvement of purchasing processes
  • Implementation and support of new tools in the purchasing environment
  • Development and maintenance of the e-procurement system

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training (e.g., Industrial Clerk) with a strong IT/digital focus or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in operational purchasing
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Business-fluent English
  • Above-average commitment, teamwork and self-motivation
  • Very good MS Office skills and SAP knowledge
  • Flexibility and resilience, as well as an independent and responsible working style
  • Excellent communication skills
