About the role
- Take part in building the roadmap: assess team capacity and decide which teams take on tasks
- Coordinate development: track what is being worked on, who’s working on it, and identify bottlenecks or missing pieces
- Monitor alignment with the plan, people’s performance, and commitments; spot recurring process issues and improve them
- Communicate with Russian-speaking teams and American colleagues; answer questions about timelines and blockers
- Help remove blockers and facilitate cross-team coordination
- Join an existing team of project managers to support a growing engineering organization
Requirements
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience
- A technical background — you understand how web services work, what JS, TS, UML, JSON, and other such acronyms mean
- Ideally, you’ve been a developer in the past
- You know how to make reports and can write simple scripts for data analysis
- Google Sheets and SQL are your friends
- Strong organizational skills
- You can write long but clear documents and coordinate teamwork
- Your English is at C1 level
- Experience working with Russian-speaking teams (team is Russian-speaking)
